SYNOPSIS
In a seemingly abandoned hotel, deep in a city facing civil unrest from an economic meltdown, Adolph, a sickly, failed artist and husband of globally successful novelist Tekla, waits for her to return from meetings about her first page to screen hollywood film. Another guest, Gustav, befriends him, helping him out of an artistic rut by getting him to sculpt. But Gustav isn’t the innocent samaritan he appears. He followed Tekla and saw signs of infidelity with a young actor. And Adolph’s soul being consumed into her body. Together Adolph and Gustav make a plan to entrap Tekla and rescue Adolph’s soul.
On Tekla’s return Adolph’s jealousy overwhelms and Gustav takes control seducing his ex wife with Adolph hiding and watching.
As the seduction reaches its possible success Adolph has a tragic break down allowing his demons to fulfil Gustav’s secret plan of revenge.
