SYNOPSIS

1905: A year after the events of Three Sisters.

Irina has managed to escape the sister's rural town to Moscow to start again and find love. She has since tried to commit suicide, saved by Nikolai, an old family friend from when they lived in the city as children. Olga and Masha have travelled to be by her side and discover a different city than they remember. On the cusp of the St. Petersburg massacre the sisters face returning home to their provincial lives or joining Nikolai to try and change their nation.

2011: Irina, Masha and Olga are three immigrant Russian sisters living in Catford, south east London.

Irina is signing on, Masha is a stripper and Olga is a bar maid studying to be a teacher. A day after the shooting of Mark Duggen, Masha brings home a client with ulterior motives. As the sisters threaten to break apart the London Riots begin and makes them confront the city they consider their homes.
